Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Valideity. Questions about billing or these terms: hello@valideity.com.

Free (₦0): 25 sessions at signup, expiring after 90 days, and up to 5 runs across every workspace you own. Pro (₦15,000/month or ₦150,000/year): 60 sessions a month, unlimited runs in workspaces you own. Team (₦45,000/month or ₦450,000/year for up to 5 people): 200 sessions a month shared by the workspace, unlimited runs; each extra person up to 25 is ₦9,000/month and adds 40 sessions. Business: agreed directly, for more than 25 people or a purchase-order/bank-transfer need.

The annual price is ten months of the monthly price. Dollar figures shown beside naira prices are approximate, not a second price — you are charged in naira.

Valideity is not currently VAT-registered, so no VAT is charged and prices shown are the final price. This will change, with notice, once that registration threshold is reached.

What you pay buys a period of time. You are never charged again unless you pay again. Reminders go out by email about seven days and two days before a plan ends; if nothing is done, the plan ends and the account moves to Free. Paying again while a plan is running adds a new period after the one you have, so no paid time is lost.

Payments are taken by Paystack. Valideity does not see or store card details. A payment starts a plan when Paystack confirms it, normally within a minute. If a payment does not appear within a few minutes, contact hello@valideity.com with the payment reference.

• Moving to a higher plan, or adding people to Team, starts immediately. Unused paid time is credited against the new price, so only the difference is charged.
• Renewing, moving to a lower plan, or removing people from Team starts when the current paid period ends.
• If unused time is worth more than the new price, you will be asked to choose a longer period or get in touch, so nothing paid for is lost.

Cancel any time from Usage and billing. Cancelling does not end a plan early — everything, including monthly sessions, stays available until the paid period ends, and nothing more is charged. A cancellation can be undone any time before then.

• Time already used is not refunded.
• A refund of the unused part of a period within 7 days of paying, if fewer than 10 of the sessions from that payment have been used.
• If a plan is ended or a service withdrawn, unused time is refunded.
• A mistake on Valideity's side — a payment taken and not applied, for example — is corrected or refunded in full.
• Refunds go back to the original payment method through Paystack and can take 5–10 business days to appear.

Refunds are made by hand by an administrator through Paystack; the product does not yet issue them itself.

• A credit is one simulated participant going through one section of a study. A run of 5 participants on a study with 3 sections uses 15 credits, and the total is shown before you press Run. Charged only for what produced evidence, never for what failed.
• The Free plan allows one test section per study. Paid plans have no limit on sections.
• Personal sessions — starting sessions, referral sessions, Pro's monthly sessions, and purchased packs — can be spent in any workspace where the owner's plan allows the run.
• Starting and referral sessions expire 90 days after they are given. Pro's monthly sessions expire after one extra month. Packs never expire.
• Team sessions belong to the workspace. The monthly pool refreshes each month with no carryover; sessions the owner buys for the team never expire and are used only after that month's own sessions.
• Packs of credits are ₦300 a credit.

Free is for trying the product, limited to 5 runs across every workspace you own; deleting a run frees a slot. Runs in a workspace follow the plan of the person who owns it, so a colleague's paid plan does not lift the limit on a workspace you own.

One account per person. Sign-ups that reuse an existing inbox — by adding "+something" or dots to an email address — are refused. Referral sessions earned through misuse may be reversed, with a visible correction on your history.

The workspace owner buys and controls the Team plan.

• If a workspace has more people than seats when Team starts, the owner and earliest joiners keep their seats; the rest are paused, keeping their account and their own sessions, until given a seat.
• The owner can cap how much of the shared pool each person uses a month. When someone has used their share, or the pool runs out, they are asked before their own sessions are spent — never without asking.
• When Team ends, the workspace returns to Free's limits, paused people regain access, and nothing is deleted.
• The owner is responsible for the people they invite.

An owner can have an invoice emailed to someone else. The price is fixed when sent and honoured for 14 days. Anyone with the link can view and pay it; the plan goes to whoever asked for the invoice, not whoever pays. Upgrades are paid directly, since their price depends on the day.

An account used to abuse the service — avoiding limits with several accounts, automated scraping — may be paused or ended. If a paid plan is ended for that reason, unused time is not refunded.

At least 60 days' notice before a price rises for your next period. Time already paid for is not affected.

Runs produce predictions from simulated participants; study links collect answers from real ones. Results are there to help you decide where to look and what to test. They are not a guarantee of how real people will behave, and they do not replace research with real people.

• A first read is an automated opinion, written by AI from a public page's words and screenshots. It is a guess at how visitors might react, not a statement of fact about the page, its business or the people behind it, and not advice.
• Only ask for reads of public pages. Do not use it to copy or scrape other people's sites.
• Reads are limited each day. Getting around the limit with scripts or many browsers counts as misuse under Fair use.
• Anyone with a read's link can open it, and reads are kept out of search engines. If a read is about your page and you want it removed, write to privacy@valideity.com and we will remove it.

Studies and other content are kept for 90 days after an account is closed, then deleted. Payment records are kept for as long as the law requires. See the Privacy policy for what is collected and why.

These terms are governed by the law of Nigeria. Terms may change; anything affecting money is announced by email before it applies to your next period.
